2019 VGS Cabernet Sauvignon
Mount Veeder, Napa Valley
A bright ruby red color immediately shines from the glass.
Aromatically-a roomful of red roses (picture yourself in Barbara Streisand’s dressing room) jump to your nose, red licorice, black raspberries, cocoa powder, crushed black peppercorns and warm toasted coconut.
Texturally-refined and elegant, medium body, soft-melted polished tannins.
The flavors evolve in the mouth from red cherry with a light note of green olive, Nantucket beach plum, fresh herbs like thyme & rosemary, chocolate cherry cordial candies, cedar, anise and cadamom. A very multi-dimensional wine.
The finish is smooth as silk...be careful, you will love this wine! The longer you wait the more you will discover what it has to offer.
